"Executive functions: underlying neural correlates and approaches for enhancement" by Stefanie Enriquez-Geppert, Department of Clinical Neuropsychology, Univ. Groningen

Séminaire annulé

Abstract :
Stefanie works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Clinical and Developmental Neuropsychology at the University of Groningen, Netherlands. She focuses on translational research on executive functions. Executive functions are regarded especially imperative for success in daily life and their disturbances are related to clinical neuropsychological findings. The scope of her examinations is the specification of neurocognitive processes underlying executive functions (inhibition, conflict monitoring, task switching and memory updating) via EEG and MRI, as well as the development and application of neuroscientific approaches to enhance these functions. In her talk, she will give an overview about these research areas.
